6 May 2010, Salzburg Sacher Cafe. The Austrians love coffee houses, not just any but grand classy ones. One of the classiest one is Sacher Cafe with outlets in Vienna, Salzburg and Innsbruck. This is the place where Sacher Torte was invented. For those of you starstruck on the famous American cafes and wouldn't have any other coffee, Sacher Torte is a cake.
A piece of the cake will set you back Euro 4.90 and the Sacher Kaffee (coffee with alcohol) was Euro 7.00.
Ahhh.... one of the purpose of travel is to be a temporary local and enjoy the good life.
